Bus Simulator City Ride will be released for iPhone® and iPad® as well as smartphones and tablets using the Android™ operating system and Nintendo Switch™ in Fall 2022. We and developer stillalive studios are proud to bring the well-known Bus Simulator series to brand new platforms. With the release of Bus Simulator City Ride players will be able to drive licensed buses through a lively environment wherever they please - be it at home or on the go.
After the releases of three Bus Simulator games on PC and consoles, the series will get a brand-new instalment in Fall 2022. For the first time, players on iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ smartphones and tablets, and Nintendo Switch™ can transport passengers from A to B in 10 original licensed buses from world famous manufacturers such as Alexander Dennis, Blue Bird, Setra, Vicinity Motor Corp. and many more.
The game takes place within the fictional city of “Havensburg” which is inspired by northern European cities and offers a variety of eye-catching buildings and landscapes including a nautical warehouse district, harbor, old town, and countryside. The main goal for players is to connect those different parts of the city with a public transport network. By completing the missions of the story campaign more routes and new districts will become part of the company’s urban catchment.
Once again, stillalive studios, the developers of previous Bus Simulator games such as Bus Simulator 18 and Bus Simulator 21, are responsible for the development on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch™.
Bus Simulator City Ride will be released in Fall 2022 on the Apple® App Store® and on Google Play® as well as the Nintendo eShop. Next to the digital release for Nintendo Switch™, a retail version will also be available in selected countries.
Lastly, some great news for everyone who would like to play Bus Simulator City Ride even before release: Starting today players owning an iPhone® or iPad® can apply for participation in a closed and limited playtest on TestFlight by Apple®. Starting on Friday, the 10th of June participants will get access to the current development version and support the team with their valuable feedback.
