After the digital launch in December publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Stefan Kelnberger are delighted to announce the retail release of Railroads Online - Pioneer Edition for PlayStation®5 in selected countries.
The retail exclusive Pioneer Edition contains the base game as well as the Pioneer DLC which includes the Bell's Gap 0-6-0 locomotive, the placeable building ‘Red Mountain’ depot and a special skin for the beloved Montezuma locomotive. The Pioneer DLC trailer showcases the content of the included DLC.
In Railroads Online, you create the railroad network of your dreams alone or in a multiplayer session with up to 16 players. In a large open game world, rails, switches, and stations must be built to transport different goods in authentic locomotives. The game uses the advanced physics systems of Unreal Engine 5 to create the most authentic railroad simulation possible, rendering collisions and forces dynamically in real time for maximum immersion. Railroads Online is available digitally for PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S at a price of 39.99€ / $39.99 USD (SRP) or a regional equivalent as well as for PC at a price of 34.99€ / $34.99 USD (SRP). Additionally, the game will become available in Microsoft Store soon.
The Pioneer DLC (2.99€ / 2.99$) and theExplorer DLC (4.99€ / 4.99$) can be purchased separately for all platforms. The Extended Edition includes the full version as well as both DLCs and is available in digital stores for €39.99 / $39,99 (PC) and €44.99 / $44.99 (PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S).
