astragon Entertainment and Independent Arts Software are proud to take part in the everplay group plc’s campaign for this year’s International Women’s Day. With a strong commitment to empowerment and inclusivity, all divisions across everplay, including astragon Entertainment together with Independent Arts Software,StoryToys and Team17, are participating in the initiative under the joint motto, “Never stop playing”. While united by the same core message, each company is approaching the campaign in its own way, tailored to its unique team.
The recently introduced new slogan not only reinforces everplay’s passion for gaming and making games but also represents unity in creating an environment of empowerment, support, and opportunity within the industry.
As part of the initiative, throughout March, the companies will be sharing a series of portraits featuring employees across their companies. These portraits will include contributions from women and also people of diverse gender identities and backgrounds, all sharing their perspectives on working in the gaming industry. Each portrait begins with the sentence “Never stop playing, because …”, followed by personal advice for young female career starters and anyone else who needs guidance, insights into the challenges they have overcome, and a call to action for the industry to remove barriers for future generations.
The portraits will be published throughout March on the channels of astragon Entertainment, Independent Arts Software,StoryToys and Team17. A collection of the first inspiring stories is already available on the astragon website.
